This 1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 began as one of 279 Tourismo five- posti sedans built during two years of production and was delivered new in Poland, where its chassis was later found without an engine by 6C expert Raoul San Giorgi. Chassis 913191 is said to have been fitted by Giorgi with a period 2.5-liter Super Sport-specification inline-six with dry-sump lubrication before being sold as a project to an Australian owner.
