This 1951 Simca 8 Sport coupe underwent a refurbishment under prior ownership in Portugal and was purchased by the current owner on BaT in January 2017. Chassis 891688 was imported to the US shortly thereafter, and subsequent work carried out at Automotive Restorations By York in Ridgefield, Connecticut, involved rebuilding the 1,221cc OHV inline-four and four-speed manual transmission.
