About
This 1959 Porsche 356A was delivered new to France through Automobiles Porsche Sonauto of Paris and is one of approximately 35 GS “de Luxe” coupes built for the final year of 356A production, all of which were equipped with a 1.6‑liter Type 692/2 four‑cam flat‑four that featured a plain‑bearing crankshaft and dry‑sump lubrication. Chassis 108186 was imported to the US from Germany in 2005 and was acquired by the current owner in 2011.
