About
This 1973 Volkswagen Type 181 Thing was acquired in 2015 by the seller, who tells us subsequent refurbishments included installing a SCAT 2,270cc flat-four as well as a Rancho Performance four-speed manual transaxle, which is equipped with a limited-slip differential. Additional work has included overhauling its four-wheel drum brakes, refreshing its suspension, repairing its floors, and installing Bestop low-back bucket seats.
