This 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo was purchased by the seller in 1981 and was sent to a RUF-authorized dealer, Scottsdale Motorsports Ltd. in Arizona, for conversion to their BTR specification in 1986. Slant-nose bodywork was also installed at that time, and the car was repainted black. Power is supplied by a RUF-modified turbocharged 3.4-liter Type 930/60 flat-six mated to a RUF five-speed manual transaxle.
