About

OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE Chevrolet introduced the fourth-generation Corvette for the 1984 model year with an all-new chassis, a wedge-shaped body with a removable roof panel and a large glass rear hatch, and digital LCD instrumentation. For 1985, the 5.7L L98 V8 gained Tuned Port Injection in place of the previous Cross-Fire Injection setup, raising output to 230 horsepower. A 700R4 four-speed automatic was standard equipment.
