This 2002 Mini Cooper S was purchased by the seller in 2004 and built into a race for use in endurance events including the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill. In 2012, the seller fabricated a custom subframe, plumbing, and front suspension setup for the rear end to accommodate a second rear-mid-mounted supercharged 1.6-liter inline-four, and with twin six-speed manual transaxles and limited-slip differentials it has been converted to all-wheel drive.
