This 1933 Packard Eight is a Series 1001 five-passenger sedan that was delivered new to its first owner, Thomas Banfield, director of the Oregon Highway Department, via the Packard Service and Sales Company in Portland on July 28, 1933. It remained under his ownership until his passing in 1950 and reportedly spent the next eight years with the owner of a Packard service shop in Salem.
