This 1934 Packard Super Eight is a 147″-wheelbase Series 1105 seven-passenger sedan that was sold and delivered new in Hartford, Connecticut, to its first owner, a New Jersey-based Standard Oil Company executive, on May 1, 1934. It was purchased by its second owner in 1954 and reportedly spent the next 50 years under their ownership, and was used in the making of the 1983 film A Christmas Story during that period.
