This 1950 Healey Silverstone is one of a claimed 105 examples produced during a two-year span, and in 1960 it was purchased by Jim and Elaine Bennett of Ohio, who became its stewards for more than six decades. Powered by a 2,443cc Riley twin-cam inline-four linked to a four-speed manual transmission, chassis D18 was campaigned in SCCA events at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course after Jim earned his competition license in 1963.
