This 1953 Dodge M37 ¾-ton 4×4 pickup began its service life with the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and later spent time with the Robins, Iowa, fire department, under whose ownership it was painted yellow. The vehicle was purchased by the seller as a partially disassembled project out of an estate sale in 2014, and subsequent recommissioning work was performed at Vintage Power Wagons of Fairfield, Iowa.
