This 1953 MG TD is a North American model that was acquired in 1985 by the seller’s mother, who commissioned a refurbishment to celebrate her husband’s 65th birthday. Work completed the following year included stripping and repainting the car green, refinishing the chrome hardware, reupholstering the beige interior, fitting a replacement tan soft top and instrumentation, and rebuilding of the 1,250cc XPAG inline-four.
