This 1954 Harley-Davidson Servi-Car Police Special originally saw service with the Maywood (Illinois) Police Department and was presented as a gift to the department’s chief of police upon his retirement from the force in 1969. It remained with his family through 2004, and a refurbishment under subsequent ownership involved a repaint in black with white accents along with an overhaul of its Linkert carburetor.
