This 1957 BMW 503 is one of 273 coupes built during a four-year production run, and was completed in November 1956 before being distributed to Swiss importer Motag in Zurich. After the car sustained front-end damage in a 1965 collision, the second owner commissioned coachbuilder Ghia-Aigle to provide bodywork with a custom front design. In 1976, the car was imported to Texas, where it underwent a color change to the current shade of white.
