This 1962 Volkswagen Beetle was acquired out of California by the seller in 2012, and a subsequent refurbishment that was completed in 2017 involved installing a 1,915cc flat-four, rebuilding the four-speed manual transaxle, adapting four-wheel disc brakes, modifying the suspension, fitting Euro-style bumpers, repainting the body in silver, replacing the canvas sunroof, and retrimming the interior in black vinyl.
