This 1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL hardtop was refurbished under previous ownership in 2004 and acquired by the seller in 2008. In 2021, a rebuilt 429ci Cobra Jet V8 was retrofitted, and the engine is claimed to have been built with 76cc cylinder heads with larger valves, .030″-over flat-top pistons, a COMP Cams camshaft, COMP Cams springs and rocker arms, Cobra Jet cast-iron manifolds, and an Edelbrock 750-cfm carburetor.
