About
Austin-Healey introduced the 3000 Mark III BJ8 in October 1963 as the final and most refined evolution of the Big Healey line, produced through the end of 1967 when Austin-Healey production ceased entirely. The BJ8 was the first of the 3000 series to bring wind-up windows and a walnut-veneer dashboard to the cabin, moving the car further toward a grand tourer than its earlier, more spartan siblings.
