This 1966 Jaguar XKE coupe was modified in the style of an E-Type Lightweight and converted for rally use under previous ownership. Dubbed Silver Thunder, the car has completed the Peking to Paris Motor Challenge and the Lima to Cape Horn. It was acquired by the seller in 2017 out of California and it was outfitted in summer 2020 with a Crosthwaite and Gardiner 3.8-liter inline-six utilizing triple Weber side-draft carburetors.
