This 1966 Lotus 23C is said to be the last of six 23C chassis built at the end of the 23 platform’s production and is said to have been delivered new to Lotus Southwest in Texas before being purchased by its first owner in Denver, Colorado. After later spending time on the East Coast, chassis 131 was purchased by collector and dealer Dan Mershon in 2005 and then sold to its current owner, vintage racer Ernie Spada Jr., in 2010.
