About

This 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a highly desirable late-second-generation example equipped with the right performance hardware and the most iconic color combination of the era. Finished in black with gold accents over a black interior, it pairs Pontiac’s final-year W72 400 V8 with a 4-speed manual and the WS6 package, making it an especially compelling choice for collectors and enthusiasts who know exactly what they want.
