Introduced for the 1980 model year, the Ferrari 308 GTSi succeeded the carbureted 308 GTS with Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection while retaining the model's signature transverse mid-mounted 2.9-liter DOHC V8. Produced through early 1983 before the arrival of the four-valve Quattrovalvole model, the 308 GTSi accounted for 1,749 examples, making it one of the rarer variants in the 308 lineage.
