This 1983 Daimler DS420 is a left-hand-drive limousine with Vanden Plas bodywork that was manufactured in April 1983, and it was ordered and imported to the US by San Francisco, California-based Jaguar distributor and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance co-founder Kjell Qvale. It was federalized by Northern California Diagnostic Lab of Napa, and it later spent time in Oklahoma before it was purchased by the current owner in 2014.
