This 1997 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra coupe was purchased eight years ago by the current owner, who commissioned the installation of a Vortech supercharger system for the 4.6-liter DOHC V8 in 2019, followed by an engine rebuild in 2021 at a cost of over $50k. The latter included installing Darton cylinder sleeves bored to 3.700″ and a 4340 crankshaft with a 3.750″ stroke, bringing the displacement to 5.3 liters.
