This Corvette Daytona Prototype was originally constructed by Dallara in 2008 as the fourth of four DP-01 prototypes designed to contest the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series and was sold new to Wayne Taylor Racing. Chassis 004 was campaigned by Wayne Taylor Racing under the SunTrust Racing banner through 2011, gathering seven overall victories and 23 podium finishes in 41 starts over a four-year span.
