Introduced for the 1999 model year as the first water-cooled 911, the 996 paired a 3.4-liter flat-six with the rear-engine layout in Carrera Coupe form. This early-build example was manufactured in January 1998 and is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black leather, retaining early-build details including amber signal-lamp lenses, a vinyl headliner, "granite" interior plastics, and a Becker 210-series CD radio.
